Home of John Clement, the Tri-Cities includes the cities of Richland, Kennewick, and Pasco and is located in the Mid-Columbia Basin of Washington State. This area is an arid desert with beautiful sagebrush and hardy flowers, through which flow the Columbia, Snake and the Yakima Rivers. The tallest treeless mountain in the Northern Hemisphere, Rattlesnake Mountain, can be seen from approximately 75% of the region. Many of John’s most popular sunset photos have been taken over this majestic mountain. Just north of the Tri-Cities is another of John’s favorite spots to shoot: a National Monument known as “The White Bluffs.” The bluffs run along the eastern side of “The Reach” section of the Columbia River. All these different landscapes make up the diverse and lovely area where John spends many early mornings and late evenings capturing the amazing sunrises and sunsets you see below.
